How to use server proxy in Internet Download Manager

This method is the easiest one. If you click on a download link in Internet Explorer or in another browser IDM will take over and accelerate this download, but if you want to download your file with an unknown proxy you have to do this steps:

• First go to http://www.hidemyass.com


• After choose an address proxy for ex: I choose this address 68.64.01.4 with the port 80 is an USA address


• Then open IDM and go to Downloads → Settings

 



 

• Then go to Proxy/Socks and type Use Proxy


• And type the choosen address proxy 68.64.01.4 with the port 80

 



 

• Then click OK


• Finally download from any website any file you want with a secure address proxy 8|
